State Superintendent Presents Budget

Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters is presenting his budget to state lawmakers. Walters met yesterday with the House Appropriations and Budget Subcommittee on Education. Walters is asking state lawmakers to allocate $38 million to improve reading, $11.4 million towards improving math scores, and $22 million of that money would go towards bonuses for teachers who prove student growth.
