QuikTrip has donated more than $7.8 million to help the city of Tulsa and area agencies respond to needs facing the city, including a growing number of homeless.

The grant money will be used to provide support to several agencies, including the United Way, Youth Services and the Tulsa Day Center.

"Incredibly grateful for what QuikTrip means to our community - building a world class business that puts people first, routinely being rated as one of the best workplaces in America, and donating a percentage of all profits back to the community," said Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum. "This year, QT is contributing to organizations that are proven in their ability to make a difference when it comes to safety, mental health, and helping those struggling with substance abuse. And they don’t just write checks! They are active volunteers in the work being done in each of these fields."
