Tulsa and Broken Arrow firefighters worked for more than an hour to rescue the driver of a cement truck after the truck rolled in a construction zone in Broken Arrow yesterday. It happened on 193rd East Avenue, just south of Kenosha Street.
The firefighters used hydraulic and battery powered extrication tools to free the driver and safely remove him from the wreckage.
The driver was transported to the hospital for a more thorough evaluation and treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
