The families of six high school students killed in a crash last year are suing the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. The wrongful death lawsuit claims the intersection where the wreck happened is dangerous and has led to numerous fatal crashes. Six girls were killed when their vehicle was hit by a tractor trailer at the intersection of U.S. 377 and State Highway 22 in Tishomingo. Almost 100 people have died at that intersection in the past decade.
