Oklahomans React To Attack On Israel

Governor Stitt is keeping a close eye on the tragedy in Israel. In a statement, Stitt noted the violence that took place in the Middle East cannot go unanswered. This comes after Hamas attacked Israel, leaving hundreds of people dead and several others wounded. Stitt said he stands with Israel as they defend their people.

U.S. Senator James Lankford of Oklahoma says the U.S. should stand strong with Israel and says he's praying for peace and safety. Senator Markwayne Mullin condemns the attack and says Israel has every right to defend itself.

Congressman Josh Brecheen says Israel's loss of full control of the Gaza Strip has undermined Israeli peace and is calling for the U.S. to support Israel with actions, not words.

Congresswoman Stephanie Bice is calling for prayers for Israelis and Congressman Tom Cole says the attack was barbaric and horrific. He says those responsible must be held accountable.
