One person was shot after a shooting at the Oklahoma State Fair that caused many attendees to be evacuated. The shooting took place inside the Bennett Event Center shortly after 9 p.m.

Police Captain Valerie Littlejohn says it was an isolated incident that began as an argument and ended in the shooting. The victim was shot in the chest and is in critical condition.

"There were a few other people that were reported with injuries, probably due to the chaos of the crowd leaving," said Littlejohn. "We're trying to determine exactly what occurred. We're looking through video. We're searching the area for any evidence and we'll have our detectives come out and start processing and talking to witnesses and have our crime scene unit come out and process the scene."

Two people were taken into custody following the incident and a gun was recovered.

The final day of the Oklahoma State Fair is on Sunday.
