Three children and a woman are dead in an apparent triple murder-suicide in Verdigris in Rogers County.
Multiple law enforcement agents had responded to the home near Cypress Street and Dogwood Court in what began as a standoff.
The standoff lasted three hours and when officials entered the home they found everyone dead and a handgun. Investigators say all four had been shot in what appears to have been a murder-suicide.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is handling the investigation.
The police chief in Verdigris told reporters that officers had responded to the same home for domestic and mental health calls a number of times in the past.
