Governor Signs Ban On Gender Transition Surgery, Hormones For Minors

A bill that impacts gender transition surgery for minors is signed into law. Governor Stitt signed the measure into law yesterday. The bill bans all non-reversible gender care for people under 18-years-old. The ban includes gender transition surgeries and hormone therapies for minors. Sanctions for violating the bill include felony charges, license revocation and civil actions which can be filed by a parent or legal guardian.
