Governor Tours Tornado Damage

Governor Kevin Stitt has gotten a first hand look at the damage left behind by the tornados that hit the state last night. In the McClain County town of Cole, Stitt says emergnecy crews are in place, doing their jobs.

"We are now getting resources in and doing cleanup. The Oklahoma Standard is strong and in force and we are helping our neighbors right now," said Stitt. "Thank you to our first responders."

Before visiting Cole, Stitt got a close up look at the damage in Shawnee in Pottawatomie County. Stitt says he's signed an emergency declaration for five counties. He also says he is in touch with the White House in case any federal help may be needed.
